Basically, it means the unit is sealed tight. No dust gets in, and water can’t just spray its way inside. Think about it: in a bathroom, steam is everywhere. It finds every little gap in a cheap heater, settles on the electrical terminals, and starts eating away at the metal. Our IR elements live inside a gasketed chassis. It keeps the moisture away from the guts of the machine so you don’t have to replace your heater every single year.
