Because if a lamp ever goes, replacing it is a breeze. We also coat the quartz tubes to make sure the heat is optimized for human skin and cotton. One heads-up: these things pull a lot of power. If you’re putting a whole bank of these into a commercial locker room, make sure your wiring can handle the peak current.
